One place I did an naming analysis for, was searching for a name for a product, and we came up with a key term and two variations, the key term had over 300 million indexed pages and 5 million monthly searches, one variation had 150,000 indexed pages and less than 1000 monthly searches, the other had 5 million indexed pages and 5000 monthly searches. So the question was pushed back on the manager, do you want to be relatively unique in a small market, or obscure in a massive market? I told them never ever have a goal of being average, because there is a name for the last company  trying to enter a market by trying to be average, it is called failure.
